Target Agreements

Target agreements and target settings are increasingly recognised and used as an effective way of personnel management. A number of requirements imposed by case law on such agreements must be observed, as they considerably restrict the employer’s options to change target agreements once they have been drawn up. We advise on the kind and form of target agreements and target settings that are appropriate in individual cases. The contractual structure can minimise the risk of court proceedings, also in the event that no agreement can be reached with the employee in relation to targets.
